The College Board has launched a comprehensive free scholarship search engine that aggregates over 12,000 private scholarships worth a combined $8 billion for the 2026-2027 academic year. The platform uses AI matching to connect students with opportunities based on their profiles, interests, and backgrounds.
Unlike existing scholarship search sites, the new database is completely free of ads and does not sell student data to third parties. It integrates directly with the FAFSA and CSS Profile to show students their complete financial aid picture in one place.
Early users report finding an average of 47 matching scholarships per student, with award amounts ranging from $500 to full-tuition grants. The platform also includes deadline reminders and essay-writing resources.
